Your keyboard adventure

01   Learn the keys

Start with F and J, then explore eight beginner missions. Follow the glowing key and the finger hint. Type spaces too. Wrong keys do not move you forward: just try the highlighted key again. Hold Shift for capitals and shifted symbols. Every mission is open from the start.

02   Catch falling words

In Word rain, type the first letter of a word to select it. When several words start with that letter, the lowest one is selected. Finish typing it to catch it automatically. Backspace removes one letter; an empty buffer unlocks the target. Five missed words ends the round. Survive 60 seconds to finish.

03   Beat your own best

Try a 30-second, 60-second, or 2-minute test. Lessons and tests start timing on the first character you type. In Word rain, the timer starts when the words begin falling. Press Esc to pause; time spent paused never counts.

What do the numbers mean?

WPM = completed correct characters ÷ 5 ÷ active minutes. Word rain counts letters in fully caught words only. Accuracy = correct character attempts ÷ all character attempts. Retrying a mistake does not erase it. Key streak is consecutive correct keystrokes. A completed lesson earns 1 star; 90% accuracy earns 2, and 97% earns 3.

This game makes no network requests. Completed lessons, best scores, and preferences are stored in this browser when local storage is available. A different browser or clearing browser data may reset them. A physical US English QWERTY keyboard is recommended; the input also accepts an on-screen keyboard. Finger hints may differ on other layouts.
